McDonald's employee repeatedly calls Black customer the N-word in disturbing viral video

McDonald’s confirms its employee who was caught on video hurling the N-word at a Black man has been fired.

A new video featuring a White McDonald’s employee’s confrontation with a Black customer has circled the internet and caused the termination of the employee.

According to reports about the incident, the 90-second video taken by the Black customer begins with him standing at the drive-through window and pointing his cellphone at a white female McDonald’s crew who’s on the phone with the police. Speaking to 911, the woman claimed the customer was causing a disturbance and threatened their manager while attempting to climb into their drive-through window.

Meanwhile, the black man tells the woman that an employee called him the N-word as he tries to open the window and the woman pushes him back.

Shortly after, a male employee intervenes and yells back at the customer saying,

“I don’t give a [expletive]” then unleashes the N-word to the customer. As the black man retaliates, he repeats the N-word again.

Happy to have caught the slur on video, the customer warns the employee of his termination.

“You’re getting fired. You’re getting fired. You’re getting fired. Fired. Fired! Fired!” he says, as he points at every employee he sees through the glass window.

“You’re getting fired, too, because you’re a manager. You’re supposed to handle this differently.”

STATEMENT FROM FRANCHISE OWNER

The clip which was uploaded on Twitter prompted the restaurant’s franchise owner, Javier Ilias to issue a statement and terminate the employee.

“This behavior goes against the values and standards that I expect from employees in my restaurants. This employee displayed improper and unacceptable conduct and is no longer with the company.”

ANOTHER RACIST RANT AT A MCDONALD'S

This is not the first time a racist encounter occurred in McDonald’s. In fact, more recently, a White customer launched a racist, sexist rant at a London branch claiming immigrants and feminists were contaminating his country. The man repeatedly took pride in White men building civilization and condemned immigrants for messing it up. The man’s rant was caught on video by singer Alex Parvenu who uploaded it on Twitter hoping to identify the man who has yet to be located by police.
