Embarrassing moment CNN expert accuses radio host of 'white-privilege' then learns he's black

A big mistake has made a fool of the CNN legal analyst, Areva Martin, who thought she was talking to a white man on Tuesday, January 15, while she was guesting on David Webb's SiriusXM radio show.

Webb is a Fox Nation host and a frequent contributor to Fox News, he said that when he applied for jobs in the media, he considered that his grades were more important than his skin color, so Martin accused him of benefiting from the white privilege.

However, this assumption ended up destroying Martin's entire argument. As Webb quickly noted: "Areva, I hate to tell you, but you should have been better prepared," he replied, "I am black."

The interview was shared on Twitter by Webb, where he is heard saying: "I have chosen to cross different parts of the world from the media, I have done the work to be qualified to be in each one, I never considered my color the problem; my grades the problem. "

To which Martin responds: "Well, David, that's another long conversation about white privilege, the things you have the privilege to do, of which people of color do not have the privilege."

"How do I have the privilege of white privilege?" Webb asks.

“David, by virtue of being a white male you have white privilege. This whole long conversation, I don’t have time to get into — ”

Webb then interrupts her to let her know that he is a black man, which causes Martin to pause.

"You see, you went to white privilege; this is the falsehood in this, "Webb replies." You went immediately with an assumption. Your people, obviously, or you did not look.

Martin apologizes repeatedly for her false accusation, adding that "her people" gave her the wrong information.

"You're talking to a black man ... who started at rock radio in Boston, who crossed paths to hip-hop, rebuilt one of the best black stations in the United States and worked at Fox News, where they told me that apparently the blacks should not work, but nevertheless, you come with this assumption and you agree to the white privilege," says Webb. "That's really insulting."

The legal analyst has not publicly acknowledged the incident that occurred in the interview, and a spokeswoman for her declined to comment.

Right after the interview with Martin, Webb decided to add a little more salt to the wound by posting photos of himself with white men, writing on Twitter: "Just two guys showing their #WhitePrivelege."

In another controversial interview, CNN host, Jake Tapper laughed at Mick Mulvaney. The acting White House chief of staff insisted that “nobody blames the president” for debasing politics making Tapper chuckle.
