Happy 55th birthday to Michelle Obama! Throwback photos reveal her elegance through the years
The former First Lady of America just turned 55 years old. You would never guess it by looking at her.
Michelle Obama is celebrating her birthday today. Admirers across the nation were quick to send her birthday wishes all over social media.
Although the beloved First Lady has not yet made her appearance online, many were quick to start the celebrations.
Things were helped by the big announcement about Michelle's book "Becoming."
According to CNN Business, the book broke the record of being the longest-standing #1 publication on Amazon since "Fifty Shades of Grey."
Officially, Amazon's chart lists it as the "most sold on Amazon across all formate for 47 consecutive days."
"Becoming" was released in November 2018. After its release, Michelle went on several tours to promote the book.
Authors Marie Kondo and Rachel Hollis stand just behind Michelle's in popularity.
Barack is also set to release his own post-presidential memoir. Penguin Random House, which published Michelle's book, has made a deal with the former POTUS.
In her book, Michelle spoke about her relationship with former President Barack Obama, as well as current President Donald Trump.
Earlier today, Barack took to Twitter to wish his wife a Happy Birthday. He posted an old picture of him and Michelle.
He wrote:
"I knew it way back then and I'm absolutely convinced of it today - you're one of a kind, @MichelleObama. Happy Birthday!"
Back in August 2018, Michelle also wished her husband a happy birthday as he turned 57.
She posted a picture of Barack overlooking a desert as he appeared deep in thought. She accompanied it with a short but sweet message.
Her caption read:
"Happy birthday @BarackObama! The view is always better with you."
We wish the First Lady a Happy Birthday and hopes she enjoys it as best she can.
