Tori Spelling shares rare photo of all 5 of her kids but gets a variety of cruel comments
Tori Spelling’s delightful Instagram post of her family didn't go unscathed as social media trolls heavily criticized and body shamed her children.
The photo showed Tori, American actress and writer, and her family of seven alongside actor Ian Ziering and his family of four. The caption indicated they had just hosted a screening of "A Dog’s Way Home."
“I can’t believe @ianziering and I once played BH teens Steve Sanders and Donna Martin and now we are married to the loves of our lives and between us have 7 kiddos who all adore each other!” - Spelling wrote.
However, critics didn't care for her happy mood. They attacked the kids by posting disparaging remarks about their sizes and clothing choices.
Insensitive comments like “why do you let your kids get so fat?” and “terrible” were made by the public.
Dean Mcdermott's patience finally ran out and he used the medium to show his disapproval and aversion towards the comments about their children.
The 52-year-old actor came to the defense of his kids as he countered the negativity, writing:
“I am absolutely horrified and disgusted by the comments being left about my children,Body shaming and bullying my children??!! What is wrong with you people??!!”
He continued by mentioning that the kids are growing which comes with body mass changes. He ended the lengthy outpouring by showing appreciation towards well-wishers who had also stood up to the trolls.
Tori and Dean have reportedly been struggling with keeping their marriage together for a while now. A neighbor once called the police on the couple claiming domestic violence.
Despite their alleged differences, the one thing these parents of five beautiful children do agree on is their kids.
Although distasteful, this isn't the first time Spelling and her husband has had to defend themselves and their children against online negativity surrounding their parenting skills and their kids' appearance.
A few months back, the former "Beverly Hills: 90210" teenage star was forced to reply to some Internet trolls for calling their kids "fat" and "unhealthy."
For all the individuals on here that felt the need to #mumshame and #kidshame me and my children I say 'Shame on you!' I was raised to believe that if you can't say anything nice about someone then don't say anything at all." - Tori stated.
It is praiseworthy that the celebrity couple does not cringe at the sight of negativity, however, armchair critics should also know their limits.
