THE SCOURGE OF OPIOID ADDICTION
The current opioid addiction crisis has its roots in the over-prescription of opioids in the 1990s.
Doctors started prescribing more and more painkillers, and opioid prescriptions tripled between 1991 and 2011. In 2016, physicians throughout the United States wrote more than 289 million opioid prescriptions.
Many of the opioid dependants started out by taking painkillers for post-operation pain and ended up addicted to opioids.

MELANIA TRUMP'S OUTFIT AT THE SOTU
First Lady Melania Trump's stylist Hervé Pierre has come forward to dispel the rumors and speculation over her outfit.
According to Pierre, the First Lady's dress was selected for the SOTU in advance for the original January date. The SOTU was rescheduled for February 6 by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi due to the government shutdown, but Melania stuck to her original choice which Pierre described as "sharp" with no "fluff."
Melania wore a dark blue closely fitted coat-dress with silver buttons and two patch pockets in a distinctly military look by Burberry's, with a cost of $2,390.
In a related article, Nancy Pelosi applauded President Donald Trump at the SOTU address, and the Internet has gone wild over her gesture.
