Reports have it that Liam Hemsworth was absent at the Grammys on Sunday evening due to an ailment; he allegedly has kidney stones.
The 61st Annual Grammy Awards held on Sunday, and it graced a large number of Hollywood guests in their best. However, dear Liam Hemsworth was nowhere to be found. Although his wife, Miley was at the event having a good time with her family members, it was apparent something wasn't right.
Earlier that day, actress and Hemsworth’s co-star, Rebel Wilson, had told Extra that the "Isn’t It Romantic" star fell ill the night before the show and spent the night at the hospital.
“He texted us this morning, he was in hospital overnight, so hopefully he will be fine.” - Wilson
Rebel, however, didn’t go further about the cause of Liam’s illness. A source later came forward to give some insight to the mystery at hand; telling US Weekly that the actor canceled his junket interview for his new film Isn’t It Romantic, on Sunday due to a kidney stone attack.
Despite her husband’s absence, Miley Cyrus did manage to have a good time at the awards-giving show. The singer was not only there as a star; she was also present to support her iconic godmother, Dolly Parton whom she ended up singing alongside.
With the whole family present, the former Disney star didn't seem to be bored. Miley walked the red carpet with her mom, Tish Cyrus and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.
The "Wrecking Ball" crooner later met with her younger sister, Noah Cyrus after her performances of "In My Blood" with Shawn Mendes and also the star-studded tribute to Dolly Parton.
Miley deserves some accolades for composing herself despite her husband's condition. She looked so calm and collected; it was almost unbelievable when the news got out after the show. It might be an indication of how mild the situation was because one thing that's certain is the fact that Miley does love her husband.
The two have been together for ten years now; the relationship started after they co-starred in the movie, The Last Song. Despite their on-and-off-relationship, they kept waxing stronger. After getting engaged twice, they finally got married in an intimate ceremony in Nashville two days before Christmas, 2018.
Miley also surprised her lover and many fans when she decided to take Liam’s last name. The latter recently revealed how pleased and touched he was to find out she was going to drop her last name for his, officially.
