Young and Restless' fans react emotionally to Kristoff St. John's death with touching posts

Young and Restless' fans pay their respect to late Kristoff St. John with tears-jerking posts. From the moment he was pronounced dead, social media has been flooded with emotional tributes from his fans, friends, and beloved.

Kristoff St. John, known to many as "Neil Winters" from "the Young and Restless" show, has gone to the great beyond at age 52.

It can be tough to lose someone dear. Losing a character like Kristoff on your favorite TV show can be heartbreaking; how much more when the person behind the character passes away from this world?

Kristoff St. John was on "the Young and the Restless" show for nearly three decades. For the record, he is the only African-American that was featured most frequently on the series.

His excellent performance on the show made him a two-time winner of the "Daytime Emmy Awards." He played the role of "Neil Winters," a man with no stable love-life.

Neil Winters was a big part of the show, and whenever he went off screen for a little while, he was usually missed by fans. Sadly, this time, Kristoff is going to be offscreen for as long as forever, and he'll be forever missed.

Amongst others, CBS Daytime created a Twitter platform for the fans and lovers ofthe TV actor to pay tributes to him.

Fans and friends immediately started to flood the post with amazing pictures and heart-warming words.

A particular user with the handle @perfectrose2011 posted a poem she had sent to Kristoff before he passed on. She also shared the picture of the actor with the poem in his hands.

According to her, she wrote and sent the poem to Kristoff seven months after he lost his son, Julian. It was intended to help the actor get over the passing of his son. Unfortunately, the world still lost such a great and kind actor.

Many other fans, who had met him at one point in time, professed his kindness and sweetness. The late actor practically takes pictures with all the fans who approach him.

The cause of his death is being traced to the abuse of alcohol. However, a report by Today says that "an autopsy had been scheduled for Monday." Officials say the public has to be patient as the results from toxicology tests could take weeks.
