Diana Ross' daughter Tracee shares a milestone photo of their family during the singer's 75th birthday tribute at the Grammys.

It was a grand family affair this weekend for Diana Ross who turns 75 in a month and a half and was given a birthday tribute at the 2019 Grammy Awards. The iconic singer wowed not just the audience but her family who was there to witness the celebration.

A MEMORABLE TRIBUTE

Diana’s 9-year-old grandson, Raif Henok Emmanuel Kendrick, whose mother is the singer’s eldest daughter Rhonda Suzanne Silberstein, charmed the crowd when he introduced his grandmother at the beginning of the tribute. He appeared after the airing of a video clip about the legend narrated by Alicia Keys.

Diana emerged on stage flaming in a red gown before belting out two of her greatest hits from her 24-album career, “Best Years of My Life” and “Reach Out and Touch (Somebody’s Hand). At one point, Jaden Smith joined her in singing the latter from the audience making his mother, Jada Pinkett-Smith very proud. She even shared a clip of her son’s “moment with an Icon Liv’n.”

The Supremes front runner ended her performance by greeting herself a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday to me!” she exclaimed.

No one could be prouder of the living legend than her daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross who went on fan mode that night. Caught taking pics and videos from the audience, Traci later shared them on her Instagram.

One of the photos she posted was a family picture featuring Diana who changed into a black dress surrounded by her sons, daughters, in-laws, and grandchildren.

DIANA'S FAMILY TREE

Diana has five children in total from three men she became involved with. Rhonda, her eldest, is her daughter with Motown CEO Berry Gordy.

Shortly after she became pregnant with Rhonda who pursued music like her mother, Diana wed Robert Ellis Silberstein who sired two daughters with Diana, Tracee, and Chudney. Both are working in the entertainment industry. Tracee is an actress while Chudney is an author.

In 1986, Diana wed shipping magnate Arne Naess, the father of her two sons, Ross and Evan who as we all know is married to Ashlee Simpson.

A Grammy Lifetime Achievement awardee in 2012, Diana never bagged any other Grammy from the twelve nominations she garnered throughout her career. It doesn’t matter at this point because she reigns as one of the most important singers in the history of music.
