Kenya Moore melts hearts with close-up photo of baby Brooklyn who is as pretty as her mom
Kenya Moore can’t stop gushing about her adorable daughter, Brooklyn, and to her fans’ delight, she keeps sharing pic after pic of the girl on social media. The mother-daughter duo recently took a flight, and Moore shared a close-up of her baby on the plane.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star seems to be instilling the love for traveling in her three-month-old daughter. Baby Brooklyn made her first trip from Atlanta to a sunnier destination a few weeks ago, to celebrate Kenya’s 48th birthday, and now, they jetted off to New York just in time to Valentine’s Day.
Moore, always the doting mom, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a pic taken on the plane, as she held her daughter on her lap and both looked gorgeous and ready to have fun. In the pic, Brooklyn is wearing a knitted grey sweater and cutely sticking out her tongue for the camera, while her beauty queen mom kept it simple with a white top.
“She’s trying to say [Hi] #brooklyndaly #miraclebaby,” Moore captioned the post.
Fans rushed to the comment section to fill it with praises for the mommy-daughter duo. “Motherhood looks amazing on you! You are stunning #beautifulwomen #mommyglow,” wrote one user.
Another added, “My goodness she is getting prettier, and prettier. Truly a blessing sent from heaven.” And a third one chimed in saying,
“Brooklyn is such a beautiful baby. I'm so happy for you.”
Kenya and Brooklyn joined Marc Daly, Moore’s husband since 2017 and her baby’s father, just in time to Valentine’s Day. The restaurant owner closed down one of his business to have a private romantic dinner with Kenya and their daughter, as the star shared on an Instagram post.
Ever since Brooklyn came into the world six weeks ahead of her scheduled date on November 18, Moore has been basking in the joy of motherhood. But to reach that state, the former Miss USA had to face a bumpy ride.
She was diagnosed with preeclampsia — a condition marked by extreme fluid retention and high blood pressure that can lead to severe complications — and that prompted her doctors to perform an emergency C-section ahead of time.
“They couldn’t get the baby out,” she told People, revealing that she spent three hours in the operating room and was cut twice, vertically and horizontally, due to fibroids being on the way.
“There were all these complications, and they knew if they cut into a fibroid, I could potentially bleed out and die. So they ended up cutting me vertically too, to just get the baby out and make sure I survived the surgery. They were so scared they were going to lose me.”
However, once Kenya had Brooklyn in her arms, she felt as if all that hassle was worth it. “She was just so perfect, so tiny. And just like that, all my dreams had come true,” the happy mom stated.
Now, Brooklyn has her own Instagram, is traveling around at just 3-months-old, and has already started to get in her exercises, enjoying sweet talks with her mother, and listening to music to enhance her engagement with the world.
“@thebrooklyndaly you make me feel brand new. Forget about age, what people say or even what the clock says... If this is what you want, God will give it to you,” Moore captioned a recent pic with the baby, proving once again that she’s totally in love with her mini beauty queen.
