Kristoff St. John’s fiancée writes about ‘bright future’ that awaits her weeks after his death

Kristoff St. John‘s fiancée Kseniya Mikhaleva opens up about her hopes for the future.

Fans of Kristoff St. John‘s are still reeling from the beloved actor's sudden death, on February 3, 2019.

Just weeks after his passing, his fianceé, Russian model Kseniya Mikhaleva, has posted a hopeful message on her Instagram account, sharing her hopes for a brighter future.

“Every morning I start by thanking the Universe for giving me one more wonderful, amazing day.”

FACING A FUTURE WITHOUT KRISTOFF ST.JOHN

Like St. John's family, Mikhaleva is struggling to come to terms with the actor's death and has posted of her anguish of not knowing "why."

Lately, she has been focusing on the positive: all she has to be grateful for, and her hope for a better future.

Mikhaleva lives in Moscow where she attends business school, while St.John lived in Los Angeles.

KRISTOFF ST.JOHN'S TRAGIC DEATH

St. John was found unresponsive at his home by officers of the Los Angeles Police Department conducting a welfare check on behalf of a friend.

His cause of death has not been released, though an alcohol overdose is suspected. St.John had been battling depression since his son Julian's death by suicide in 2014, at the age of 18.

A LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP

Mikhaleva and St.Jonh met in Paris in February 2018, and the "Young and the Restless" actor lost no time in proposing, and they got engaged in September 2018.

Mikhaleva lives in Moscow where she attends business school, while St.John lived in Los Angeles. At the time of his death, the Russian model was filing her papers to move to the US to be with her fianceé.

A TOUCHING TRIBUTE TO KRISTOFF ST.JOHN

St.John and Mikahaleva had spent New Year's together, and the actor had posted several photos on his social media, where he called the Russian model "my love."

In the aftermath of his death, Mikhaleva posted a touching tribute to St.John:

“Your soul and spirit always with me. I wish I could have been there to let you know how much you mean to me. You are deep in my heart. I’m praying for your family. Rest in paradise.”

Kristoff St.John is survived by two daughters, Paris and Lola.

MELODY THOMAS SCOTT GRIEVES FOR KRISTOFF ST.JOHN

Actress Melody Thomas Scott, who had shared a screen with Kristoff St.Jonh since he joined the cast of "The Young And The Restless" in 1991, has opened up about her grief.

Scott revealed that the show's hectic shooting schedule had demanded that she remain stoic, and hold back her pain:

“We still had shows to shoot, and I had to remain stoic. I said backstage when I come out and anybody asks me, 'I'm going to remain stoic.'"

Scott revealed that she was close to the actor and that his loss has affected her deeply, as well as the rest of the cast. In April, the "YATR" producers have announced that they will be paying homage to St.John through the soap's storyline.
