Susan Boyle who has an estimated net worth of $28M seen waiting for a bus after leaving AGT
Susan Boyle was spotted waiting for a bus a few days after she got evicted from the show, “America's Got Talent.” She no doubt has a way of being oblivious of her celebrity status.
While on the show, the British lady-singer got to the top 12 finalists level before getting dismissed. Boyle left the stage unable to conceal her disappointment.
The 57-year old is however back to her “ordinary life” lifestyle. She was spotted at her home town in West Lothian in a beanie cap, a black coat which she donned over a tracksuit and a pair of flats. With her hands in her pocket, the singer freely roamed the streets.
Boyle's way of life can be considered "simple" and maybe quite unusual in comparison to the wealth she has amassed over the years.
The singer is worth $22M, but she would rather live a modest life. Susan still resides in her parent's home. She once said that the wealth does not get to her and all she cared for was singing.
Boyle was spotted looking quite regular as she wore a satisfactory smile showing that she has gotten over the hard feelings of losing at “America's Got Talent.”
In an interview shortly after she left the show, the singer replied a question of how she felt about exiting with a good spirit of sportsmanship, the star replied:
“I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed, but also deep down I didn't think I would win. Secretly you hold out hope that you just might because that's what drives you to do your best in a competition.”
The talent went on to say that she never really considered herself a champion.
“I'm just me, Susan Boyle,” she said.
Before she left the talent hunt, Susan earned herself a golden buzzer from Judge Mel B after she wowed the audience with a superb performance of the song “Wild Horses.”
Boyle's beautiful performance isn't a one-time thing. In 2009, while she was a contestant on “Britain's Got Talent,” her wonderful voice bedazzled the audience as she performed her version of “I Dreamed a Dream.” Susan emerged second place that same year on the show which brought the Scottish singer into the limelight.
Susan Boyle is set to release a new album later this year after a 10-year break off the entertainment world.
