She opened up about her reasons for not having a child in a candid interview with Larry King in 2000.

“I thought I [wanted to have children], and then when it came time – you know, the – my clock was ticking. And I thought, OK, now it's time I should get around to doing this. Then I thought I really didn't necessarily have that drive and that desire to have a child that I think you should have. And I wasn't ready to make the commitment,” she said.

She added that while she and her first husband, John Derek, considered having children, their busy work schedules have hindered them.

NO URGENCY

John Derek was 30 years her senior and Bo didn’t want to raise children alone one day. He also had two children from his previous marriage, so Bo didn’t feel the urgency to bear children with him. John Derek died in 1998.

"We talk about [marriage] sometimes but we don't have children and we're not young, so there isn't that pressure or need to get married."

Bo Derek and John Corbett are in no rush to get married because they don’t have children.

Derek, 62, said she is deeply in love with the 57-year-old actor but that they feel no pressure to tie the knot, as reported by ET Online.

"He's funny. He makes me laugh all the time," said Bo, who plays Tara Reid’s mother in “Sharknado 3: Hell No!”

"A GIGANTIC BONUS"

Bo and Corbett, who starred in “Sex and the City”, have been together for 13 years.

Bo has described her relationship with Corbett as “a gigantic bonus”.

The actress was widowed in 1998 when her husband, film director John Derek, died of heart disease. She met Corbett in 2002 through a blind date.
