Mark Wahlberg Shares Sweet Photo with His Daughter and She's Grown Up
47-year-old "Boogie Night" actor Mark Wahlberg shows off his daughter, Grace Margaret, as he uploads a rare photo of the two of them, and it is evident that she is grown.
Mark Wahlberg, is one of those celebrities that rarely put up family pictures especially his children, in the spotlight. On social media, he is known for promoting various causes and charities that are dear to him.
Last Saturday, the acclaimed actor shared on his Twitter page, a picture of himself and his daughter, Grace Margaret. It was a date-night photo of the duo. Mark captioned it,
“Daddy-daughter dance last night with my little princess.”
At the end of the quote, he added a red heart emoji.
The one-time teen idol, also crouched beside his daughter, putting them at equal height. In reaction to the rare treat, fans were motivated to share their daddy-daughter dance pictures and commented on how fast children grow and the need to make memories with them.
Grace is one of the four children the 47-year-old have with his wife, model, Rhea Durham. The young girl is into competitive horseback riding, and her father is her biggest fan.
At one of her equestrian shows last September, the eight-year-old won first place, and her famous dad was there to cheer her on.
Mark has also received a lot of cheering in his life. He was born on June 5, 1971, in Dorchester, a town in Boston, Massachusetts, and was the youngest of nine children.
The Wahlbergs' didn’t have much, and things only got worse for them. This situation led to “The Planet of the Apes” actor going into drugs, petty crimes and dropping out of High School at age fourteen.
Salvation came for the acclaimed actor after he did a stint in Juvie, and his elder brother, Donnie Wahlberg, took him in and got him a musical contract.
Mark became a rap artist, and went by the name “Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.” Fame and popularity came, but along with it, came a lot of scandals.
Soon, the young teen star hit a rough patch after being accused of being a racist and homophobic. With his musical career going down the tubes, he made the transition from music to acting and became one of the few actors to do so successfully.
The turning point for him came when he played “Dirk Diggler” in the movie “Boogie Night,” and since then, Mark’s career has soared. He has also stayed far away from scandals and negative press.
