J.Lo Brings ‘Fixer Upper’ to Malibu as She's Spotted with Joanna Gaines near Her Oceanfront Home

When you are Jennifer Lopez, with a lot of goodwill to bank on, you can make the impossible happen, even if it’s getting a “Fixer Upper” star away from her territory.

Nothing is impossible if you have a lot of money and Jennifer Lopez proved this when she got Joanna Gaines of HGTV's “Fixer Upper” to come to Malibu.

The singer and her boyfriend, former MLB star, Alex Rodriguez recently bought a beach house which J.Lo has referred to as a “Little Fixer Upper,” and she wants Gaines to help remodel it.

“TMZ” shared a picture of the two women on the beach looking at the property, with the caption;

“Jenifer Lopez is all about that magnolia market life, and who better to get the job done on J.Lo's new beachfront crib than 'Fixer Upper' star.”

The “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” singer wore a beige overcoat over a turtleneck sweater and skirt, but discarded her heels, and walked on bare feet. Gaines wore a sweater over a blue jean and had on converse sneakers. The two were not alone; they were followed around by a camera squad, and the celebrity interior designer had her eight-month-old son, Crew, with her.

According to PEOPLE, it's not been decided if the Gaines would take up the project of renovating the property, because of their work policy of not taking up projects outside of Waco, Texas.

The meeting was to take a look at the home and see what can be done, as the Gaines' whose show ended last year after running for four years may have time to take up a new project outside their home state before their return to television. This is not the “Jenny From The Block” singer's first property with her boo, Rodriguez.

They have a home in New York, and last November, the retired baseball player sold his Los Angeles home for $6.5 million. J.Lo had in the previous year, put up for sale her New York Penthouse for $27 million.

In an earlier interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” J.Lo revealed that she had a huge obsession with the Texas-based show and had a “Fangirl” moment when she first spoke to Gaines.

According to the 49-year-old, at the time they bought the beach property, they thought it would be nice to have the Texas decorator redo the house, and since dreams do come true, Rodriguez surprised her on their second anniversary with a Facetime call with the Gaines'.

Although Joanna did not commit to redoing the house, she promised to help out however, she can, which the singer was grateful for. J.Lo will be touring Texas this summer with stops at Dallas, San Antonio, Edinburg, and Houston.
