Ne-Yo & Wife Crystal Pose with All of Their Kids in Rare Family Photo as They Enjoy Spring Break
Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal recently stepped out with their blended family for some spring break fun, and fans can’t get enough of the adorable Smith clan.
Crystal, 29, took to Instagram with a photo from the family outing and one can’t help noticing the smiles on their faces.
Ne-Yo (birth name Shaffer Chimere Smith) looked content as he balanced their two-year-old son, Shaffer, on his hip, while keeping a hand on the stroller of their second son, eight-month-old Roman.
Ne-Yo confessed that he was disappointed to find out he was expecting another boy.
The singer was flanked on both sides by his children with ex-fiancée Monyetta Shaw, eight-year-old Madilyn and Mason, 7. Crystal posed beside Mason in a white t-shirt and faded, ripped jeans.
The entire family chose to go casual for their family trip, which was to the Universal Studios in Hollywood this past weekend.
Ne-Yo, 39, and his boys seemed to have a red color theme going on with their outfits while Madilyn rocked patterned leggings and a blue jacket.
“Spring break has officially started for The Smith’s!” Crystal announced to her over 400,000 followers. They, in turn, showed up in the comment section and had only kind words for the family.

The Grammy winner and Crystal, who tied the knot in February 2016, welcomed their first child Shaffer one month later. On June 14, 2018, they welcomed their second son together Roman.
Before Roman’s birth, Ne-Yo confessed that he was disappointed to find out he was expecting another boy. At the time, the singer/songwriter already had two boys and one daughter and was hoping to even out the gender ratio.
The “Miss Independent” singer also revealed that his daughter Madilyn was even more upset.
“My daughter was the most hurt by it. She really wanted a little sister, but I told her, ‘No, no, because now you’re the queen. Now they have to do what you say.’ She was all right after that.”
Judging by Madilyn's smile in the recent picture, it's safe to say the young lady has no qualms being the only girl now.
