Recently, Carter celebrated a major achievement as he became the longest living US President ever. March 22 marks his 94 years and 172 days on earth.
Many people noticed that Jack, Chip, and Jeff bear a strong resemblance to their father, who served as the 39th president of the United States from 1977 to 1981.
Much the same as the other first family, who left the White House, the spotlight also turns away from Carter and Smith's family. According to Business Insider, this is what their children are up to today:

JACK RAN FOR A NEVADA SEAT IN THE US SENATE
Jack ran for the first major office his family has sought since 1980. In 2006, he was the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Nevada before losing to John Ensign, a Republican incumbent.
He then spent a large portion of his career in the investment and finance industry.

VERY LITTLE IS KNOWN ABOUT CHIP
Chip, who wedded three times, took part in the Democratic National Committee and sought after a variety of vague business ventures.
When he decided to lie low, his son James Carter IV carries on the political torch. During the 2012 presidential election, James stood out as truly newsworthy for uncovering the infamous "47%" video that excluded candidate Mitt Romney. He later got a thank-you letter from former president Barack Obama.

AMY ILLUSTRATED A CHILDREN'S BOOK
During the '80s and '90s, Amy became a political activist. She later got her master's degree from Tulane.
Amy then illustrated her father's book, "The Little Baby Snoogle-Fleejer," which is about a boy who befriends a monster.

A BIG MILESTONE
Recently, Carter celebrated a major achievement as he became the longest living US President ever. March 22 marks his 94 years and 172 days on earth.
He had passed the previous record held by the late President George H.W. Bush, who was 94 years old when he died last November.
Carter was also the first United States president to be born in a hospital.
