Rachelle decided that her dog Bijou was worth more than a short back and sides haircut, so she started experimenting on her, humanely, of course.
Bijou is colorblind, according to McGinnis, so the change in her appearance, no matter how abstract, doesn't appear to bother her.
As the owner of a dog grooming company, K-9 Designs, McGinnis was able to invest considerable time and energy into transforming Bijou into a number of fantastic beasts, including a horse, a peacock, and even a dragon.

To prepare Bijou for a magical transformation can sometimes take up to a year to get the coat the right length before sculpting begins.
Thereafter, the sky is the limit with what McGinnis can create. Bijou is colorblind, according to McGinnis, so the change in her appearance, no matter how abstract, doesn't appear to bother her.
"For Bijou, it's all about the attention - it's not like she looks in the mirror, she just loves being groomed and stroked."

For the polar bear look, McGinnis took 11 months to prepare Bijou's fur as it had to be just the right length to begin the transformation.
After the polar bear was such a resounding success, McGinnis says she hopes to turn 12-year-old Bijou into a sheep next.
Well, it seems some dog groomers are clearly out here doing the most!.I don't know about anyone else, but I can't wait to see Bijou as a sheep! Which one of these transformations was your favorite?
