Kim Kardashian Reveals the Name She May Choose for 4th Baby, Explains Its Special Significance

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are getting ready to welcome baby number 4 in their family. And Kim is considering breaking her strike of unique names to go for a conventional one because it has a special meaning for her family.

Kim Kardashian recently discussed baby names on her visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” alongside her sister, Khloé, and Kourtney.

The entrepreneur, who already shares daughters North and Chicago, and son Saint with husband Kanye West, revealed that she is thinking of naming her second son after her brother: Rob.

When asked if she or Kanye choose the baby’s name, Kim revealed that she asks for everyone’s opinion in the family before making a decision.

“We all weigh in. I definitely take a family survey, but it’s usually after the baby’s born and we’re trying to figure out what the baby looks like,” she told Kimmel. “I usually go about three or four days nameless until I really feel like it connects.”

The host and Kourtney agreed, with the last admitting that she waited a week before naming her youngest son, Reign, and adding that the boy was named Preston for an entire day before she realized it didn’t work out.

Kim revealed she had been “googling” Armenian names, but nothing caught her attention. And then, she admitted that she’s been thinking on going for Rob.

“I do have one name,” she started, looking at her sisters for reassurance. “I was truthfully thinking of just naming him Rob, [like] my brother.” And added:

“But then it’s kind of like North, Saint, Chicago, Rob — it doesn’t really go — but I was really feeling that or like you know Robert.”

She also stated that her brother already approved the idea, “so that’s like our one kind of name.”

The name has a more significant meaning for the family, as their father was also named Robert Kardashian.

This will be Kim and Kanye’s second baby welcomed through a surrogate.

The 38-year-old first revealed the big news in January on her visit to Andy Cohen’s “What What Happens Live.” She admitted that, although she had been tight-lipped about her plans for a fourth child for months, she let the cat out of the bag thanks to alcohol:

"It's out there. I got drunk at our Christmas Eve party, and I told some people, but I can't remember who I told."

On the first episode of the new season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kim showed Kylie Jenner an ultrasound of the baby, revealing that she was freaking out. “I didn’t think it was going to happen. I thought like ‘oh, it probably won’t even take,'” she admitted.

She also told Kylie that, although she was trying to keep the secret, her daughter North was already telling everyone at school she was having a second baby brother.
