Chapman was in Hawaii when she started struggling with her breathing and required medical help. Her doctors confirmed the incident was a complication from her cancer treatments.

The star, who is married to Duane “Dog” Chapman, 66, suffered "due to an accumulation of fluid in her lungs," according to a representative. The source added, "Doctors performed an emergency procedure to alleviate pressure that had built up.”

The insider continued:

"She is now at home resting with her husband. She and Dog are so grateful for the thoughts and prayers from their fans. Keep them coming."

Other sources linked to the star also confirmed that she was now "home and doing fine."

On November 27, 2018, the reality star underwent emergency surgery to remove a life-threatening blockage in her throat and that’s when it was discovered that her cancer had returned and spread.

She was initially diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer and underwent surgery to remove a mass before going into remission. In December her husband confirmed Chapman's cancer had spread throughout her throat and lungs and was "incurable."

In January she started undergoing chemotherapy in Los Angeles. After her diagnosis, the star promised to never give up saying: "I've never been a victim and I won't let cancer beat me."

While she underwent her November surgery, her lawyer Andrew Brettler, shared that her condition was quite serious. Speaking about the chemotherapy sessions he said, "They are going well, but they certainly take their toll on Beth."

Brettler added, "She's a trooper though and a very tough lady."

Sharing about his wife’s progress before the most recent incident, Duane said:

"She's still trying to cook and get involved in my bounties and business. She's still trying to do everything. Beth is the kind of girl who likes control. She's trying to still advise me on my work, and I'm like, ‘Honey, I was the Dog the Bounty Hunter before I met you. Stay out of it!'"
