His other notable works include “The New Adventure of Old Christine”, “NCIS”, and “Men Of A Certain Age.”

His second marriage was to actress Chelsea Field, whom he dated for over 10 years before finally getting married in 2009. The duo share two kids, Wil and Owen.

Bakula’s daughter Chelsy is the only one who followed in her father’s footsteps. She is best known for her role in “Quantum Leap: Memphis Melody.”

HIS “FAMILY FIRST” ATTITUDE

After his first marriage with Krista failed, Bakula understood the importance of being there for his family. The actor revealed how it took him a long time to work out his feelings about his and Krista’s relationship.

The actor also added that he regrets not being able to make time for his daughter Chelsy when she was growing up.

All of that changed when he met his second wife Chelsea.

“I had it put in my contract that I would be done every Wednesday at 6 so I could be home for dinner,” he shared. “And I made time to coach my sons’ soccer and baseball teams.”

According to Bakula, marriage takes “energy and focus.” He and his wife “work hard to stay present” in their relationship. The couple enjoys doing theatre projects whenever he can find the time.

“Chelsea is amazingly present and has taught me a lot about relationships and spirituality. I feel incredibly lucky to have the career and family I do,” he said.
