Meghan Markle's Mom Doria Ragland 'Overjoyed' at Birth of Her Grandson

Behold! The crown welcomes a baby boy and grandma, Doria Ragland is feeling on top of the world! According to details obtained via a statement from the Buckingham Palace, Doria, who happens to be the mother-in-law to Prince Harry is "overjoyed" by the news of her first grandchild's birth.

Nothing compares to the joy of motherhood, mainly as a first-time parent, but the excitement of Granny Doria cannot be contained, as rumors have it that she plans on living at Frogmore Cottage in London for a while with the Royals and their new child.

A post on Twitter via the handle of the Royal Family reported that both mother and child are hale and hearty as Meghan Markle's mom was with her daughter every step of the way.

Sources revealed that Doria flew into London in April and since then has provided a lot of aid and support for her child. The news garnered by the Sun read:

“Like all mums, Doria wants to be there for her daughter at this seismic event in her life. She wants to spend as much time as possible with her first grandchild and has come over for a sustained period. Meghan also wanted to show off her new house to her mother, and the two have been enjoying spending time together.”

While both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are thrilled to have a new addition to their family, it appears that they don't mind having Grandma around for a while.

It seems that it is not just Doria who is super excited about the newborn. The Royal Family Instagram handle released a post which shared concise details of the little one alongside the other members of the family who are aware of his arrival. It read:

“Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at around 0526hrs this morning. The baby weighs 7lbs 3oz. The Duke of Sussex was present for the birth. The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the of Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwell, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news."

The invaluable bond between mother and child exists between the Duchess and her mother, as Doria explained in a recent interview how close and inseparable she is with her daughter. She also spoke about how much she is willing to do for the new mom.

Hitherto, when Meghan launched her cookbook, her mother stated that she was "Head over heels" for her baby girl's new achievement. They have each others backs like BFFs.

Although the couple is yet to put up pictures of their baby, it is a known fact that his name and photos will be in the open very soon.
