Keyshia Cole's Son with Daniel Gibson Had Surgery as She Revealed 2nd Pregnancy

Daniel Gibson Jr., Keyshia Cole's son, allowed fans to see him as he was prepping for surgery. Mere hours before, his mother announced her second pregnancy with a dramatic photo.

The nine-year-old son of singer Cole and her ex-husband Daniel Gibson Sr, took to Instagram over the weekend to share his experience. The post is found below.

According to Daniel's caption, his mother was somewhere behind the scenes as he got ready to do surgery in order to breathe better. The ten-minute clip featured Daniel on a bed wearing hospital garb.

A nurse or doctor was also captured speaking to Daniel and doing something with his arms. He looked up at her as she went from one arm to another.

In the caption, he wrote:

"Mommy is here with me and I’m READY FOR THIS SURGERY. Thank u guys for all of your well wishes and blessings, I really look forward to breathing and sleeping better, and just overall playing and interacting like a regular kid!!!"

Just hours earlier, Cole announced that she was pregnant for the second time in as many years presumably for her current boyfriend, rapper Niko Khale.

The 23-year-old and his 37-year-old girlfriend have both been sharing pictures together on their Instagram accounts since they began dating in 2018.

Prior to the big announcement, fans had been constantly telling Cole that she looked pregnant. The "I Found You" singer denied the news in a since-deleted response post, even allegedly saying she was hurt by the "body shaming."

She did also say it was "sweet that [her fans] were excited about the news," but gave no hint at the time that they was a little one on the way. On the contrary, fans were surprised to hear the news last week.

In the meantime, Cole continues to battle in court with ex-husband Gibson Sr. Since she sometimes appears on the reality show "Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood," fans know the two still communicate.

As for Daniel, the young boy is looking forward to welcoming his new brother into the world. Cole hasn't said how far along she is, but we wish her and Kale a safe pregnancy and extend congratulations.
