Ryan Seacrest Congratulates Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on the Birth of Their Baby
The Royal baby is here, and Ryan Seacrest in his congratulatory message to Meghan and Prince Harry welcomed the baby to the race for the throne.
On Monday, April 6, the modern day fairy tale Princess, Meghan Markle, and her Prince, welcomed their first child — a son, and being a child of royal descent, congratulatory messages have been pouring in from across the world.
Among the heartfelt wishes are that of American television personality and co-host of the show "Live with Kelly and Ryan," Ryan Seacrest. He took to Twitter to congratulate the new parents and noted that the latest addition to the British Royal Family is the seventh-in-line to the world's greatest monarchy.
Seacrest didn't stop there; he took a line from the "HBO" show "Game of Thrones," writing that the yet-to-be-named baby is the "Latest entry in the race for the iron throne."
The "American Idol" host's followers joined him in wishing the Duke and Duchess well. One follower wrote:
"Yeah, congrats. Princess Di must be looking down and smiling."
Another took a trip down memory lane, writing that as a 12-year-old, the new father walked behind his mother's coffin, and "Today, he walked out to celebrate life. I'm so thrilled for them."
Others celebrities welcomed the new baby, and Meghan's former co-star and on-screen husband on "Suits," Patrick J. Adams wrote on Twitter that the couple would be incredible parents, and since he welcomed a child with his wife — Troian Bellisario, seven months earlier, he is excited about the journey they are about to start.
Adams is also planning a future playdate for their children, but he is not the only one who wants to meet the new royal. Michelle Obama in her message wrote at the end "Barack, and I can't wait to meet him."
As much as the Sussexes are getting a lot of goodwill, Piers Morgan of "Good Morning Britain," is not one of their well-wishers. The Brit wrote on Twitter that he does not share the excitement of the new birth, except the Duchess announces that her son is "Identifying as a gender-fluid vegan."
While Piers is waiting, the new mother will be preparing to go back to work. According to a royal expert, the former actress will be taking short maternity leave and wants to get back to work as soon as she can.
The Duchess will also be back in time for Queen Elizabeth 93rd birthday celebration in June, and royal filmmaker, Nick Bullen, believes that she would take advantage of the media coverage she's getting, and channel it into her work.
The Duke and Duchess' son will also have a title, but rumours are making the rounds that his parents may choose a different part for him. The name the Royals will choose is also a hot topic, as many in the UK have placed a bet in that regard.
No one knows what it will be, but following Meghan's way of doing things, it will be no surprise if she chooses a name that the Royal family has never used.
