86-Year-Old Man Tells the Doctor His 20-Year-Old Bride Is Pregnant

Getting older is no joke, but there are some who handle it well and some who refuse to take it lying down. If you can still laugh, it means you're not dead yet!

The senior man in this joke preferred a comfortable deception rather than face an uneasy truth. But his doctor would not let him get away with it!

A senior man goes for his annual checkup. The doctor asked the man how he was feeling, and the 86-year-old said,

“Things are great, and I’ve never felt better! I now have a 20-year-old bride who is pregnant with my child. What do you think about that, doc?”

The doctor considered the question for a long minute, and then, unsure of how to say what was really on his mind, he began to tell a story:

“I have an older friend, much like you, who is an avid hunter and never misses a season. One day he was setting off to go hunting. In a bit of a hurry, he accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun.”

The old man listened intently, because who can resist a good story. The doctor went on:

“As he neared a lake, he came across a very large male beaver sitting at the water’s edge. He realized he left his gun at home, and so knew he couldn’t shoot the magnificent creature."

The old man's eyes widen, immediately understanding the frustration of the fellow due to being a hunter himself for the past seventy years. The doctor continues:

"Out of habit he raised his cane, aimed it at the animal as if it was his favorite hunting rifle, and yelled ‘bang bang’. Miraculously, two shots rang out and the beaver fell dead.”

“Now, what do you think of that?” asked the doctor.

The 86-year-old replied, “Logic would strongly suggest that somebody else pumped a few rounds into that beaver.”

The doctor replied,

“My point exactly.”

Do you think the old man joined the dots and discovered that his new bride might not be carrying his child? What a dilemma!  If you enjoyed this funny story, remember to share it with your friends.

In a recent story we shared, a 70-year-old man also discovered love again, but he got engaged to a 67-year-old woman who could understand his life experiences.

Murphy Wilson and his wife Antoinette were married for 41 years before she passed away. Not used to being alone, Wilson prayed about it and God delivered him Lucinda Myers.

Unsurprisingly, the couple met at church and decided to get engaged as soon as they realized it was love. They marked their milestone with a romantic engagement photo shoot that quickly went viral as people enjoyed seeing the seniors finding love again.

Wilson's daughters suggested the photoshoot, but comedian Niecy Nash got wind of their photo and shared it on Instagram where the post received over 35,000 likes. Just leave it to Niecey!

What a great way to celebrate finding love again. Congratulations to the two of them, may they have many happy years together.
