'Duck Dynasty' Star Uncle Si Hospitalized – Details
A hunting accident left "Duck Dynasty" star Si Robertson in pain and prompted a hospital visit, as revealed by his co-hosts on the "Duck Call Room" podcast.
In the January 23 episode of the "Duck Call Room" podcast, co-hosts Phillip McMillan and Justin Martin recounted the notable details of Si Robertson's recent hunting accident. John Godwin and John-David also joined the conversation.

Si, fondly called "Uncle Si," who typically joins the discussions, was notably absent as his fellow hosts shared updates on his condition and recovery.
Justin explained that the accident happened as the group returned to the boat house during a hunting trip with Si possibly cold after the ride.
Justin explained, "Anyway, typical Silas Robertson, in a big dang hurry to get out of the boat and into the Polaris... he fell trying to get out of the boat. Just on the bank there."
According to Justin, the steep incline and muddy conditions made the spot especially treacherous. "If you don't go off the nose of the boat like the very nose, you will fall. I know this because I have fallen right there," he explained.

Despite the tumble, Justin Si quickly got back on his feet after the fall, likely trying to avoid drawing attention to it. However, being covered in mud made it obvious to everyone that he had fallen. When asked if he was okay, Si repeatedly assured them, saying, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Yep, no problem, yeah."
Despite Si's reassurances, his condition later worsened, leading to a hospital visit. Phillip described the scene, noting the quiet atmosphere in Si's room as he sat alone.
When Phillip asked what was going on, he expected Si to joke or laugh but instead heard, "Man, I'm in a lot of pain." Si explained that he had fallen while duck hunting and thought he might have broken some ribs, though Phillip observed that Si often assumes the worst.
Si also mentioned that his oxygen levels were low and that he needed X-rays.

When the doctor mentioned offering Si pain medication, Phillip laughed, explaining that when Si says "no" to something like that, he really means "yes." He advised the doctor to give Si the medication so they could move things along.
The incident is the latest in a series of health challenges Si has faced in recent years. In June 2022, Si revealed on the podcast that he had been approved for lung surgery to address a problem affecting his ability to exhale.
He later shared updates on Facebook, expressing optimism and humor about his health journey. After undergoing tests in Houston, he assured fans he was eager to recover and continue sharing his signature stories.
Following the procedure, Si reassured fans on Instagram in September 2022, "The doc says surgery went great. I'm ready to get back at it, Jack! Thanks for all the prayers and support. It means the world to us."
The podcast revisited Si's battle with COVID-19 in February 2021, another significant health challenge. Initially reluctant to seek medical attention, he was hospitalized after friends noticed his unusual quietness.
Although he returned home after his diagnosis, his condition worsened, prompting further concern. His co-hosts emphasized their determination to support him, highlighting the seriousness of the situation and Si's resilience.
As Si continues to share his life publicly, fans can look forward to more stories, especially with A&E recently announcing a "Duck Dynasty" revival.
Joy lit up the comments as longtime fans celebrated the news of its comeback after eight years. However, a few people felt that the show had a good run and should not be revived.

The new series will be referred to as "Duck Dynasty: The Revival." It will air on A&E, with the network sharing that they have ordered two seasons of 20 one-hour episodes from Wheelhouse's Spoke Studios and Tread Lively Productions.
The official page of the reality show confirmed the news on Facebook, "Quack, Quack! 🦆Duck Dynasty is BACK with #DuckDynasty: The Revival! Join Willie Robertson, Korie Robertson, and their growing family as they plan the future of Duck Commander and pass down their legacy. Don't miss the fun—SUMMER 2025 on A&E! 🎉."
Willie and Korie Robertson will bring their trademark humor and warmth to the screens as they watch their children tackle marriage, parenthood, and running businesses, all while continuing to pass down the family legacy. The couple's kids are John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and Rebecca. It will also feature other favorite family members from the original hit show such as Miss Kay and Si.
"Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We're thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can't wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures," Willie and Korie noted.
Devoted viewers of the original reality series are thrilled by the news of the revival. One viewer cheered, "We've been waiting years in hopes to hear this news! The best show that's ever been on TV!"
The show held a special place in the hearts of many fans, who expressed their excitement and admiration for the family, eagerly anticipating the revival and new episodes. Anxious for a new season. Really love your show," one supporter said.

However, not everyone was entirely on board with the idea, as some voiced concerns about the show's ability to recapture its original charm without its key family members.
Addressing such worries, Korie previously revealed that Si would be part of the show, reassuring fans with, "So much has changed, we've got a lot to catch people on." One fan, who feels that the show needs no revival, bluntly advised, "No, don't embarrass yourself. You had a good run, but you're over."
A&E's Executive Vice President and Head of Programming, Elaine Frontain Bryant, has acknowledged the "Duck Dynasty" contributed significantly to the network's success over the years. She's also excited about the upcoming reunion with the Robertsons for the revival.
Elaine gushed, "The Robertsons earned a seat in homes across the country with their unique brand of downhome practicality, southern charm, and relatable humor."
Wheelhouse CEO and Executive Producer Brent Montgomery is looking forward to working with the Robertsons on the revival. He worked on the original "Duck Dynasty," describing it as the best reality sitcom of all time.
He emphasized that the Robertsons' core values of "faith, family, and fun" will drive the content of the revived series directly to the hearts of viewers.
"Duck Dynasty" aired for 11 successful seasons on A&E, with its viewership reaching 11.8 million at its peak. The show ended in 2017 as the Robertsons chose to pursue other ventures. The original cast was made of Phil, Si, and Phil's sons Jase, Willie, and Jep.
