Kelly Ripa wowed fans with a throwback photo of herself during the 1999 Daytime Emmy Awards.


The 48-year-old television personality looked stunning as she posed in a revealing gown at the glamorous event 20 years ago.  


She captioned the Instagram post, “Daytime Emmys 1999. Here’s how the convo went. ME: is this dress see through? HIM: no. ME: are you sure? You’re not even looking! HIM: let’s go we’re going to be late. ME: but.... HIM: elevators here.”  

In the photo, the “Live With Kelly and Ryan” host is seen stopping on the red carpet in her stunning cream and gold colored gown. The daring dress covers parts of her body only with sequins and fabric.

Her legs, parts of her stomach, and even her underwear are visible. The host also seems to have no qualms showing off ample cleavage for the star-studded awarding ceremony.



Adoring fans were quick to comment praises. “I would love to have that photo autographed,” one wrote. Another quipped, “WOW!!!! Looks stunning on you Kelly.”  

In just three days, the post has received more than 160,000 likes.

Ripa also recently shared a throwback picture that showed her striking resemblance to her a 17-year-old daughter, Lola.

Aside from Lola, Ripa shares 16-year-old Joaquin and 21-year-old Michael Joseph.

Ripa has been public about her family, often sharing photos of herself, her husband, and their children on her social media accounts. She and her husband have been married for over 20 years.

In her younger days, Ripa portrayed Hayley Vaughan on the ABC daytime soap opera, "All My Children." She also played Faith Fairfield on the ABC sitcom, “Hope & Faith,” from 2003 to 2006.

For her influence as a television personality, Ripa was named one of the Most Powerful People in Media in 2014 by The Hollywood Reporter.
