R&B icon Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Tracey Edmonds' son is headed to prom, and the proud mother made sure to snap a few photos to post on social media. Her son, Dylan, bears a striking resemblance with his father, and that continues to get stronger as he grows older.

Now that he's all grown up, he attended his high school prom looking dapper in a white buttondown top and a black suit. Meanwhile, his date wore a little black dress and strappy heels.

Mommy's Boy

This is not the first time Tracey has shared photos of her son, in fact, he seems to be one of his favorite topics to post about on social media. After all, who wouldn't be proud of their own son. Edmonds often shares photos of her sons' achievements, but also the special moments that they share together as a family.

Previously, she shared a photo of her and her sons Dylan and Brandon all the way in Machu Pichu, something she claims she's always dreamt about.

Co-parenting scheme

Although Tracey and Babyface parted ways way back in 2005, they remain friends. In fact, the rapper considers Tracey to be family, and when her then-boyfriend Deion Sanders called him for permission to meet his children, he gladly agreed. In a previous interview, he recalled the situation, saying:

“Deion’s a good guy…Deion did one thing for me…which I thought was the classiest thing in the world. …When he called me and said he didn’t want to meet my children until he sat down with me….so he [wanted to] know me before he met my children…I was in. Tracy is family, so I wanna make sure she’s good.”

In the end, Tracey and Babyface split because while they had a connection, the love just wasn't there.

“We loved each other, but we weren’t really IN love with each other. It was more the idea of it falling apart and me holding onto the image of what I thought we were…I don’t feel like we were supposed to be together forever.”

Lucky for them, everything turned out good in the end, and they're all living their best lives.
