Tamar Braxton's Son Teamed up with Her New Boyfriend for Sweet Mother's Day Tribute

Tamar Braxton had every reason to beam with delight on Mother’s Day. Her boyfriend and her son teamed up to give her the sweetest surprise. "You are my MOM and you are my friend," Logan says.

It appeared David Adefeso, Tamar Braxton's boyfriend sat down with her son, Logan Herbert to help him pen a loving message for his mother in time for Mother's Day.

"A LETTER TO MOM"

The letter posted on David’s Instagram enumerated the things Logan believes Tamar complains about him as well as the reasons he loves her. It began with the introduction, “A letter to mom.” Then Logan, pictured with his playful mom in the photo his letter captions, starts to write about his annoying traits,

“I talk back sometimes; I don’t always pick up my toys; I go too fast on my mini scooter even though I know it drives you crazy, and I really hate fruits.”

“I miss you when you’re traveling for work...but I know you always come back to me.”

“I feel safe when I’m with you, and I feel happy because I know you love me."

But he then shifts to more positive thoughts by telling his mother he liked her hugs and laughs.

“I like it when you hug me, I like the way you laugh...it makes me laugh too,” he writes. “I miss you when you’re traveling for work...but I know you always come back to me.”

The five-year-old continues by declaring, “You are my MOM, and you are my friend.” He adds,

“I feel safe when I’m with you, and I feel happy because I know you love me. And because I love you. Together forever... your son and best friend Logan. Happy Mother’s Day.”

THE LETTER'S SIGNIFICANCE

We’re not privy to how Tamar reacted to the letter but we suspect it brought tears in her eyes. Logan is her only child and they’ve been inseparable ever since Tamar split up with Logan’s father and her ex-husband, Vince Herbert. Plus, the greeting was extra special with the participation of her new boyfriend who Tamar would often gush about.

THREE'S COMPANY

Tamar has been very vocal about developing a relationship between David and Logan. During their trips together, the couple would always include Logan. Tamar also confessed there’d be times she would share the same bed with Logan on one side and David on the other. It was frowned upon by some of her fans but Tamar insisted didn’t care about others’ opinions.

A MOMENTARY BREAK

There was a slight snag in Tamar’s relationship with David recently when the singer admitted breaking up with him “for 20 minutes” during a trip to Napa Valley. Tamar dismissed the momentary split as “a lot of wine happening.” She later confirmed they were back together and now it seems, they're stronger than ever with proof of David’s Mother’s Day surprise.
