Beyoncé and Solange’s Half-Sister Koi Flaunts Her Dance Moves in New Video
Talent runs in the Knowles family as Beyoncé and Solange's little sister, Koi Knowles, shows off just how related the three of them are with her dance moves.
Koi Knowles is a little bundle of talent, and she is showing from a very young age that she's just as talented as her half-sisters, Beyoncé and Solange; they share the same father, Matthew Knowles, but different mothers.
"Happy Como De Mayo from Koi and her crew."
The video showed little Koi dancing at a school event. She wore a pink dress on black leggings and had on flat shoes of the same color. Blue hair bands held her hair in two buns, and she wore a smile throughout the performance.
The little dancer and her crew moved to the song "Maria, Maria" by Carlo Santana, Wyclef Jean, and David McRae. One of the boys had on a mariachi hat that managed to stay on his head as they twirled, bent, and showed off different dance moves.
At the end of the performance, the 8-year-old showed she is a diva in the making with her wave to the audience; it had a healthy attitude. The video got hundreds of likes, and her followers applauded her performance.
Dancing is not the only talent the little girl has. She is also a good actress, and Taqoya believes she has a passion for entertainment like her sisters. The proud mother shared on Instagram a video of her little girl acting the role of "Dorothy" in her school presentation of the "Wizard of Oz."
Koi equally has an active social media, and fans of her award-winning sister, Beyoncé, were surprised when they found out the two were related. The little girl's identity was not known to a lot of people because Matthew refused and continues not to acknowledge her existence.
Despite Taqoya taking him to court in 2010 to prove his paternity, the former manager of the "Halo" singer, persists in his denial. This is because she arrived when the 67-year-old was still married to Tina Knowles-Lawson, and the discovery of his affair and love child ended their marriage.
Despite not being accepted by her father and possibly her sisters, Koi is making her way in the world and carving a niche for herself with the help of the only parent she knows.
