Wendy Williams Talks Kevin Hunter Divorce, Says She's Dating 'Pretty Often' (Video)

Wendy Williams admits "rediscovering my love for men" as she discusses life after her divorce from her husband of 22 years. She also clarifies rumors about having a boyfriend.

When one door closes, another opens. That’s what Wendy Williams is realizing now that her marriage is over and she’s exploring dating life again.

"I am a single woman running around New York."

LIFE AFTER DIVORCE

The talk show host admitted on Tuesday’s episode of “The Wendy Williams Show” that she’s in a better place now despite her divorce from her husband of 22 years, Kevin Hunter.

"I am working on my divorce pleasantly right now," she tells her audience.

"I have the ultimate bachelorette pad high atop everything. I have a really really good view and I'm reclaiming my life."

ON DATING A MYSTERY MAN

However, Wendy is quick to shut down rumors that she went out on a date with a mystery man over the weekend because the man assumed to be her date was actually part of her security detail. Wendy insists she is a single woman who just likes to have a good time and nothing more.

"I am a single woman running around New York. You don't just throw away 25 years lock, stock and barrel. I gotta tell you something right now as a mature, almost single woman. We do have our son and he is away in college and he's home right now, he's home for college break, he sees me, he sees his dad."

She adds,

“I go out a lot because I am a good time girl, I like to have fun. I right now am a young and pretty New York City girl. I have the ultimate bachelorette pad high atop everything. I have a really really good view and I'm reclaiming my life."

ON REDISCOVERING MEN

Wendy denies having a boyfriend but confesses she’s “rediscovering my love of men.”

“I’m reclaiming my life…I do date and I date pretty often."

She also says many of her male staff have visited her bachelorette pad and foresees many more men will set foot there.

“The parade of men will continue because I need things lifted, put in position,” she jokes. “I’m still unpacking boxes, for God’s sakes. That’s all I’m saying.”

Williams filed for divorce from Kevin Hunter ending their marriage of close to 23 years. She cited irreconcilable differences in her court documents yet the real alleged reason was her husband’s fathering a child with his longtime mistress.

She even shaded the woman recently with a comment on her show about women who have no respect for marriage. “There is a hot place in hell for you!” she says.
