Arnold Schwarzenegger, considered by many as the king when it comes to bodybuilding and weight training, has recently been kicked in the back while in South Africa.

The incident took place on Saturday, May 18, 2019, in Johannesburg, at the Arnold Classic Africa, a multi-sport event held every year in May.

The attack was caught on camera and later shared by the 71-year-old actor and former California governor, who asked his fans not to dwell on it and, instead, share videos of the athletes.

IT WAS LIKE THROWING A PENCIL AT A RHINO

In the video, Schwarzenegger can be seen on the sidelines with a group of people, filming a rope-skipping performance with a cellphone. When he turned back to hand it over, a man came flying out of nowhere.

The suspected hit the retired bodybuilder in the back with a dropkick, which didn't even faze Schwarzenegger, and fell to the ground as members of the security staff grabbed him.

The identity of the man is yet to be revealed, and so is the reason as to why he decided to attack the actor, but moments later someone can be heard screaming "help me, I need a Lamborghini."

SHRUGGING IT OFF

The star later took to his official Twitter account to share a clip of himself leaving the venue and greeting the fans on the way out as if nothing had happened.

Schwarzenegger eventually addressed the incident, thanking his fans for their concerns but assuring them that they didn't have anything to worry about.

He wrote:

"I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat."

Seems like nothing can bother the 71-year-old, who has been spending his time between the gym and attending several sports events. But soon, he will have an even more important one to attend.

WEDDING BELLS RINGING

Back on January 13, actor Chris Pratt, the actor known for playing the role of Star-Lord in "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "The Avengers" franchise, announced his engagement to Schwarzenegger's daughter, Katherine.

According to Schwarzenegger, Pratt is a fantastic guy, so much that he even went the traditional route and asked the proud father for his approval before asking Katherine to marry him.
