Ciara's Ex Future Blasted for Giving Son a Rolex for His 5th Birthday

Future gifted his son with a brand new Rolex for his 5th birthday, and people aren't very pleased. In fact, even Baby Future seems to be shocked that he got a Rolex instead of a toy based on his reaction.

The rapper proudly shared photos and videos from his son's superhero-themed birthday party, which his son clearly enjoyed. When it came to giving gifts though, it seems little Future was a bit underwhelmed by what he received, as he just said a half-hearted "thanks" after opening it.

A 5-year-old with a Rolex?

One thing's clear: Future is loaded with money. However, people are now slamming him for gifting his five-year-old son with a watch worth $100,000, when he could've easily gotten him an expensive toy (or hundreds of them) with what he's spent.

While Future could have been thinking about, well, the future, people couldn't help but slam him for his son's reaction at his gift.

Of course, Ciara and Russell Wilson also made sure to throw their little boy their own celebration, which little Future seemed to enjoy a whole lot, too.

It seems regardless of their differences, Ciara, Russell, and Future will always just want what's best for their son.

Russell vs. Future?

In January, Future and Ciara were in a heated situation when Ciara filed new documents insisting that the rapper has been slacking off on his child visitation obligations. However, Future made sure to slam this allegation while being interviewed for his new album "THE WIZRD." To him, he feels Russell isn't stepping up as a husband since Ciara keeps mentioning her ex during interviews.

“He not being a man in that position. He's not telling her, 'Chill out with that on the internet. Don't even talk to him. I'm your husband. You better not even bring Future's name up.' If that was me, she couldn't even bring his name up. She know that. She couldn't even bring her ex's name up. I don't care what they gave you. You don't bring their name up in interviews. Don't even do nothing around them, don't say nothing.”

Future also shares that he did not appreciate Russell meeting his child without his permission. To him, it was disrespectful that they began going around with Future, without even talking to him.

However, now that Russell is definitely going to be in the picture forever, Future says that he wouldn't mind him teaching his son how to play football.

"He talented. Why wouldn't I want a championship player coaching my son? I want the best for my son."
