Tyler Perry's Girlfriend Wows in Sheer Black Gown & Curly Hair at Cannes Film Festival (Photos)

Tyler Perry’s longtime girlfriend Gelila Bekele turned heads in a glamorous outfit as she walked the red carpet at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival in France.

Although she keeps a low profile, model/activist Bekele always gets noticed for her great sense of style and this time was no exception.

The melanin goddess posed elegantly at the prestigious film festival in a sheer black dress that went all the way down to her feet and showed just a hint of her matching heels.

Bekele revealed in a caption from one of her photos that the outfit is a Giorgio Armani piece and she styled it simply with her voluminous curls and light makeup.

Although her partner, Perry, is a Hollywood heavyweight, it appeared Bekele, who is also a documentary maker, was flying solo at this particular event. This year's festival is billed to hold from May 14 to May 25.

The Ethiopian native attracted a lot of positive comments from social media users on her classy look.

When she and Perry, 49, welcomed their son, Aman, in 2014, both parents asked that family and close friends send donations...

“Omg!! You are absolutely stunning!!!” gushed one Instagram user.

“Stunning & always 100% classy!” echoed another.

It was the same scenario last month when Bekele stepped out in New York to support "Apex for Youths," an organization that provides first-grade to twelfth-grade students with structured academic and social activities to improve their communications skill and opportunities.

For that event, the 32-year-old sizzled in a sheer print black-and-yellow dress while showing off a hint of cleavage and posing with friends.

For a woman who is mostly out of the spotlight, Bekele does quite a lot through her social activism, including her 2015 docu-film “Mai: Life is not Honey” and the 2016 book “Guzo” which documents the daily lives of native Ethiopians.

The mom-of-one also collaborates with NGOs such as Charity Water, an organization dedicated to providing clean water to developing countries.

When she and Perry, 49, welcomed their son, Aman, in 2014, both parents asked that family and close friends send donations to the Charity Water instead of baby gifts.

Bekele and Perry started dating after they met at a concert in 2007, and in a 2017 interview with PEOPLE’s Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle, the “Madea” creator revealed that he got to find out they were having a baby via FaceTime.

“I get a FaceTime call and she’s holding up the pregnancy stick. I’m like, ‘I guess this is happening.'”

Perry also confessed at the time that their lives revolve around little Aman, who is now four years old and yet to be revealed to the public.

There’s no surprise there because even Bekele and Perry’s relationship continues to be shrouded in mystery.

There were rumors in 2017 that the two secretly tied the knot but as both parties refuse to address them, all fans can do is continue to wonder.
