Marie Osmond was inspired when she saw an entire stadium of people singing one of her famous hits and shared the videos with others.

The famous entertainer got wind of a video showing Kilmarnock Football Club fans singing her song "Paper Roses" at a match earlier this week.

Giving credit to the original uploader Steven Cree, Osmond, 59, posted the clip to her Instagram account and shared how she reacted in the caption. The post is found below.

She wrote:

"I'm in the studio recording my new symphonic album with tears in my eyes as I saw this video. I'm playing it for everybody in the studio. So cool... I'm so happy for all of you!!!"

Sadly, Osmond's tears of joy quickly turned into concern when a couple of days later her newborn granddaughter had to be taken to the ICU due to health issues.

This time, she took to Twitter to ask fans for prayers:

"Asking fans for prayers for my precious granddaughter born this evening 6lbs 10 ounces. So thankful she was able to be taken to children's ICU in one of our amazing @CMNHospitals. #gratitude that she is in their care!"

The new addition is Osmond's fifth grandchild from her eight children. Earlier this month, she celebrated Mother's Day with her large family. "I have to have my grandkids with me, okay?" she told the Daily Mail.

Osmond said she was "super excited" about the coming Mother's Day. She is herself married since 2011 to Steve Craig. It's their second marriage after the two divorced in 1985.

The divorce came just over a decade after Osmond's song "Paper Roses" propelled her to stardom in the country music arena. The song is actually a rendition of Anita Bryant's composition.

However, when Osmond recorded a video of her singing it, she stole hearts and took the song to the next level in popularity. Her official recording landed her at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
