The Sweet Thing Tamera Mowry's Husband Adam Did during Daughter Ariah's Birth
Tamera Mowry-Housley reveals the sweet gesture that her husband did when she freaked out while giving birth to their daughter Ariah.
The women of "The Real" have always been open about their personal lives, and it seems as if they have nothing else to share with the way they've opened up on their show. However, they surprise us every single week about even more precious moments that happened to them in their lives.
On a recent episode, Tamera Mowry-Housley recalled the time she gave birth to her daughter, Ariah Housley, and how she had such a hard time in labor. Due to some difficulties before getting an epidural, she ended up having panic attacks that prompted her husband to act quickly.
Best Husband Award
Instead of freaking out, too, Adam took care of Tamera and allowed her to feel whatever it was she was feeling. On top of this, he was updating her worried family and friends who were in the hospital's waiting room. According to Tamera's co-host, Loni Love, Adam did such a great job balancing everything that was happening.
"He was good. He was texting us," she said.
Tamera added that while she was freaking out, her husband was calming her down and helping her every time she felt the need to vomit.
"I followed all the rules. You weren't supposed to eat before you get the epidural, but I threw up four times and there was a moment where after the medicine goes in your body you get paralyzed from the waist down and you start freaking out. He grabbed my shoulders, rolled me over once and did it four times."
In the end, Tamera, looking proud as ever of her husband while her co-hosts applauded him, said:
Thank you, baby. I appreciated that. He didn't complain."
Courtship and Dating
When Adam and Tamera first began dating, he had no idea who she was. The former Senior Fox News correspondent had to "Google" Tamera when they first dated. He first saw a photo of Tamera in his economics professor Robert Pexton's wall at Pepperdine University. The professor keeps photos of his favorite students on a wall near his desk, and he discovered Tamera. While Tia was on the wall too, Tamera shares that her husband really pointed at her.
It was then that they ended up corresponding after the professor gave him her e-mail. They first dated on New Year's Day 2005, and the rest is history.
