Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Ended Memorial Day Watching a Movie with His Daughter
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ended Memorial Day watching a movie with his daughter, but time with his little girl was not the only thing he was thankful for.
Memorial Day usually brings families together, as they take the time to reflect on the life they have, and the men and women who give up theirs to ensure they live in peace.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who was recently named one of the 100 most influential people of the year, spent the day with his family and he ended it with a cute father-daughter moment spent with his second child, Jasmine Lia, watching a movie.
The wrestler turned actor shared the beautiful moment on his Instagram with a picture post. In it, the little girl is seen sitting in between toned, muscled legs on a bed, dressed in a pink and white Pegasus-patterned PJs.
An iPad rested at the foot of the bed, and the little girl focused on the cartoon on the screen.
The father-of-three informed his fans that he got suckered into watching "The Incredibles 2" for the 57th time before bedtime.
Dwayne also wrote that he was grateful to be able to spend time with his "Babies," and he expressed his thanks to those who made it possible.
He wrote,
"The freedom and safety to enjoy these blessed moments in my life… don't come without sacrifice and burden to endure."
He continued,
"I am grateful to the bone and honor the servicemen and women who gave up everything for the very blessing we enjoy."
Family means a lot to the "Scorpion King" actor. Days earlier, he was with his first daughter, Simone Alexandra, at her high school graduation from NSU University School, Fort Lauderdale.
Dwayne shared photos of the two of them on Instagram, writing how proud he is of her accomplishment, and used the opportunity to inform his fans that she is bound for NYU.
Simone Alexandra, is his only child from his marriage to Dany Garcia, while Jasmine is his child with girlfriend, Lauren Hadrian.
The "Fast and Furious" actor and Lauren had the little girl in December 2015. At the time, the mother-of-two wrote on Instagram that she was awed and grateful for the incredible feeling creating a life gave her.
Beneath the post was a couple of hashtags from the actor announcing that he and puppy Hobbs were the only "Dudes" in the house.
Despite this fact, the "Jumanji" actor could not be happier. According to "People" a month before his daughter arrived, he said,
"I was raised by and live with amazing and strong women, so the universe thought we needed more."
In a funny twist, the universe gave Dwyane another daughter, Tania Gia, and the actor is grateful and loves every moment with his “Babies.”
