Jana Duggar Proudly Shares a Beautiful Photo of Sister Jessa's Newborn Baby Girl

Jessa Duggar Seewald and husband Ben Seewald welcomed their third child on Tuesday and Jana Duggar could not be happier. The proud aunt took shared a beautiful picture of her baby niece on social media.

“Welcome to the world little Ivy Jane Seewald!” Jana captioned the Instagram snapshot of baby Ivy, who looked absolutely adorable in a pink onesie and a grey bow headband.

Jana further added that she is excited for the new parents.

The couple announced the arrival of their little angel in a statement on their family website. Ivy was born on Sunday, May 26 at her family’s Arkansas home. She weighed 7 pounds and 14 ounces and measured in at 20.5 inches long at birth.

“Ivy Jane Seewald was welcomed into the world Sunday, May 26th. We were getting ready for church when my water broke, and we were thinking ‘Well, I guess we have a change of plans!” the couple wrote in the joint statement.

They further added: “After three and a half hours of labor, Ivy was born at 5:57 pm. Her due date was June 5th, and since both of our boys went five days past their due date, we thought we would go late again. We were so surprised when she came two weeks earlier than her brothers.”

Jessa Duggar revealed the name of her baby girl via. Instagram in a cute post of the newborn. Wrapped in a soft white blanket, little Ivy looked adorable as she slept peacefully.

“Introducing…Ivy Jane Seewald…” the proud mother of three captioned the post.

Ivy is the first daughter of Jessa and her husband, who have two sons Spurgeon, 3, and Henry, 2.

The couple got married in November 2014 in the presence of over 1000 people at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas.
