Angela was taking her son to the prestigious Derby, and the two were dressed up accordingly.

In the photos, the two-year-old Sutton is wearing white shorts and a shirt, with turquoise suspenders and a cheeky bowtie to match.

For the Derby, Angela chose a stunning red dress with a retro 50s look, and a flirtatious red fascinator, She upped the ante with daring white stilettos with irregular black polka dots.

The last 6 months have been particularly hard for Angela since her son's father Sutton Tennyson Sr. was killed in November of last year. Tennyson was shot 13 times in broad daylight in his own home in Atlanta.

Angela had moved forward by focusing on her son and trying to do the best she can as a single mom.

“He means the world to me. Being his mother means everything to me. I know I can’t fill his Daddy’s shoes. But I promise to carry him to my best ability,” she said.

The reality star has been working at giving tiny Sutton a normal life and has vowed that she will tell him all about his father as he grows up.
