Kelly Rowland Revealed She's 'Itching to Have Another Child'

Kelly Rowland is itching to have another child after welcoming her son Titan with husband Tim Witherspoon back in November 2014.

The 38-year-old revealed how she's "itching" to give her four-year-old son a sibling and expand their small family.

"I am itching to have another child."

The former Destiny's Child member admits that right now, her main priority is to be a good mom to Titan. She wants to make sure that they grow up in a "normal" environment away from the scrutiny of the public eye.

To her, kids should not be born into their parents' dreams and be affected by it. They should be able to live and grow

"It's really important to me. Kids don't ask to be born into their parents' dreams,' continued Kelly. Of course you want them to be proud of you, but you want them to know you were there and you were present."

One reason why she is prioritizing being a good mom is that she herself grew up with just one parent. Kelly wants to make sure that her son does not have to experience what she had to experience.

Kelly is interested in getting to know her estranged father, but only for the sake of her son. She hopes to let him know his grandfather so that he does not have to live with such a void in his life.

“I do want to know him, meet him, know his background for the sake of my son."

She adds that her husband Tim has already spoken to her father through the phone, but she hasn't had the courage to do so herself.

"I don't know, I'm just nervous to make that phone call," she said.
