The phase of discovering yourself and supporting your significant other has taken his relationship with the star thriving for over three decades.

NO PLANS TO TIE THE KNOT

The couple almost got married once, but they’ve made it clear that they’d never marry!

“Well, the thing about our relationship is, so I’m dedicated to her happiness, so that’s great for her and I want her to be the best she can possibly be and she’s done a pretty good job of doing that,” Graham, 68, told Ellen on the show. “And so for me, I’ve been able to find my own happiness, my own skills, my own talents, my own abilities and I’m satisfied with that. I’m happy with that.”

The “dedicated to her happiness” line brought a huge cheer from the audience acting as a survey on its effectiveness. “So the combination — when you have a good partner that is able to self actualize their potential and you’re able to self actualize yours,” Graham quoted a lesson from his book.

Talks of Oprah running for president in the 2020 elections were also brought up during the show and even though the talk show host decided against doing so, Graham expressed that she’d be a great president.

“You know, you can trust her, number one, she’s smart, she has a photographic memory, she works very, very had, so she has the qualifications to do it,” he told DeGeneres. “And she’s very successful.”

The author really preached what he practiced with his statements regarding the TV star. His dedication to Oprah’s happiness reflected on his passionate description.
