Lee Majors’ Revelations on Being Married to Farrah Fawcett
Lee Majors has opened up about the struggles he and Farrah Fawcett faced during their marriage.
While they were married for nine years, Majors and Fawcett were together for almost 12 years, as reported by PEOPLE.
"Back then we only had to deal with the paparazzi at large. A lot of time you could evade them, but not all the time.”

Career and fame, however, got in the way of a happy conjugal life.
“It lasted about 12 years,” Majors said. “But there was a year or so when I think I saw her two weeks in one year. It’s very difficult with careers like that. This business is tough. Working 14 hours a day, both of you, and the days went by.”
Majors and Fawcett tied the knot in 1973 and separated in 1979. Their divorce was finalized in 1982.
Fawcett, a multi-awarded actress, died of cancer in June 2009. She was 62.

THE DOWNSIDE OF HOLLYWOOD FAME
Majors said he and Fawcett faced limitations because of their fame.
“It was hard to get around,” he said. “It was not quite as hard as it is today with everyone has a cellphone and the social media is so quick. Back then we only had to deal with the paparazzi at large. A lot of time you could evade them, but not all the time.”
Majors and Fawcett were two of the leading stars at the time, with their posters adorning many teenagers’ rooms.
Before Fawcett, Majors was married to Kathy Robinson and shares a son with her.
PASSING ON HIS CHARM
Majors also has a daughter and twins with his third wife Karen Velez.
His twins, Dane and Trey Majors, grew up to become his lookalike during his youth.
With his dashing looks, Dane has decided to follow in his father’s footsteps. He has earned roles in a number of movies, including “Severed Road,” “Honor Council,” and “To the Moon.”
Majors is married to actress and model Faith Cross, who is 35 years younger than him.
