Wendy Williams Breaks down in Tears While Talking about Estranged Husband Kevin Hunter and Their Son

Wendy Williams was so emotionally overwhelmed that she broke down in front of the paparazzi, but because of her job, she didn't dismiss the intrusion.

Williams, 54, was at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles on Sunday night when the paparazzi caught her and asked about being in Los Angeles, her relationship with the Kardashians and Blac Chyna, and one other touchy subject.

The man behind the camera also tried to ask Williams about a young gentleman who sat next to her in the car. However, the man had no interest in speaking a word to the camera. The video is found below.

Williams was fine as she opened up about the Kardashians, talked about her show, and her plans with Blac Chyna. Yet when the cameraman asked about Kevin Jr., her son, she got emotional.

"Please don't ask about Kevin. We have an 18-year-old son and I'm sensitive to that," she began. When the cameraman prodded, she said:

"Young Kevin and I are fine. You know, Big [Kevin], Godspeed. And, um, you know, stuff happens in life. Stuff happens and it's okay. I've still got a very full life that I really [enjoy]."

"Please don't make me cry," she requested, before promptly breaking down into tears. She repeated that she has a full life and said she had to go, but doubled back again on the topic.

"All three of us are doing fine," she insisted. In response to whether or not Kevin Sr. would see his son again, Williams answered, "Yes! [My son] Kevin’s gotta graduate from college. He’s going into his sophomore year. He’s going to get married. Everyone’s gotta grow up.”

She vaguely addressed the matter of Kevin Jr.'s attack on his father saying, "they're not apart. You know, stuff happens in life." Finally, Williams was allowed to leave, food in tow, with her mystery man.

The gentleman is presumed to be the same one Williams posted to her Instagram earlier this week. Williams held onto someone's hand in a poolside shot of her at Sherman Oaks.

Her full caption read:

“Last night was the most beautiful sunset in Sherman Oaks with special people. Thank you, California! You’ve won me over! I’ll be back for the Hip Hop Festival in August!"

She also added the hashtags, "#oldenoughtobeyourmother," "#verysexyman," and "#mynewlife." According to People magazine, the general belief was that Williams' new beau is DJ Boof, but the latter shut down rumors that it's him.

As for Williams' son, the two last appeared together in late May when they attended a gala event in Washington, D.C. The public appearance came only days after Kevin Jr. was arrested following a physical altercation with his father.

He was taken to the West Orange Police where they charged him with assault. He was let go later the same evening and Kevin Sr. released a statement saying he would not pursue legal repercussions.

It is believed that the altercation had to do with the divorce between Williams and Kevin Sr. The host had papers served to him on April 10 after 21 years of marriage.
