“Counting On” stars Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth posted a touching tribute to their grandmother, Mary Duggar, 78, who passed away on Sunday.

A few days after Mary Duggar’s sudden passing, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth posted a touching tribute to their late grandmother on their Instagram account, remembering the “strong woman” she was to them.

“She was a strong woman, role model, oddly counselor… and my favorite person to watch “The Price is Right” show with,” the couple wrote. “She is GREATLY loved & missed!”

The couple proceeded to thank their fans for the support and prayers they have shown the family in this trying time. Her followers were quick to comment on their sympathy and condolences on the post.

“So sorry for your loss. Grandma Duggar will be missed by many,” one comment read.

Another shared their love for grandma Duggar on the show, who frequently appeared on “19 Kids and Counting” and “Counting On.”

Jill Duggar Dillard also paid homage to her late grandmother in an Instagram post where she referred to the 78-year-old as a "feisty, incredible woman."

Jill and her husband, Josh, are not included in the popular reality show, which is currently on a break. However, the series is set to resume for another season.

The Duggar family announced their late grandmother’s demise on their Facebook page on Sunday, which read:

“We are so sad to share that Grandma Duggar (Mary) passed away Sunday afternoon, June 9th, 2019,” the announcement read. “Mary Lester Duggar grew up in Farmington, Arkansas and was married almost 50 years to J.L. (Jimmy Lee) Duggar who preceded her in death."

The family continued to share about Mary's Christian faith and how she lived up to Christ's calling to love and live a forgiving life to "one day spend eternity in heaven."
