On Wednesday, President Donald Trump and the first lady welcomed the president of Poland to the White House. For this occasion, the first lady wore an outfit that had tongues wagging.
First Lady Melania Trump and her husband President Donald Trump had the pleasure of welcoming the Polish President Andrzej Duda and his first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda. Images of the two couples were shared on social media.
Melania chose to wear a pale pink suit for the meeting as she was photographed standing next to her husband and interacting with Duda and Kornhauser-Duda. Being somewhat a fashion icon, the US first lady soon had the internet buzzing with comments.
People loved how she looked in the Calvin Klein two-piece. A Twitter user named Adam Stys commented on her post writing: “Thank you. You are the classiest First Lady ever!”
Someone else with the user name craig61 added: “Our First Lady is class act!” David Ball noted: “I’m going to have to stop texting about @FLOTUS , I say the same things all the time ... Amazing, gracious, beautiful, pure class. Never been a First Lady, like Mrs. Trump. So proud of our President and First Lady.#TRUMPSECONDTERM #MAGA.”
Lady Rich complemented Melania writing: “Love your suit - pink looks well on you.” Carl Radino took note of both women’s outfits adding: “Two stunning ladies representing their countries with pride!! The US and Poland should be proud!!”
The US first lady’s suit jacket featured two large lapels and had an oversized cut. It also boasted three gold buttons which went down both sides.
The matching suit pants appeared to be slightly loose but in an elegant way. Melania tried not to be too formal by leaving a couple of buttons of her shirt undone.
To give her even more height and add on to her ensemble the first lady added a pair of pink stilettos. Her makeup was kept simple and not too flashy.
She wore her hair down and completed her look with matching nude nail polish. The US and Polish leaders will be attending meetings at the White House.
They will also speak during a news conference at a Rose Garden.
