New Club Footage Shows Cuba Gooding Jr. Lay Hands on Woman Who Accused Him of Groping

Video footage revealing Cuba Gooding Jr.'s alleged groping of a woman at a bar is shedding more light on the events that transpired that night. The actor was previously arrested due to the woman's accusations and insists the video will speak the truth.

Today brings tough news for Cuba Gooding, Jr. fans to swallow. After he was reportedly arrested for allegedly groping a woman, surveillance video reveals more proof of the encounter.

The incident which occurred around 10:15 pm, revealed Gooding reaching over his wife to touch the woman’s thigh. He then proceeded to touch her breast.

WHAT SURVEILLANCE VIDEO REVEALS

TMZ released the said footage where Gooding and his alleged girlfriend, Claudine De Niro were captured in the company of his accuser who sat next to them before the alleged groping occurred.

The footage which is still open to interpretation shows the woman approaching the couple and sitting next to them on a couch in Magic Hour Rooftop Lounge in New York City. The incident which occurred around 10:15 pm, reveals Gooding reaching over De Niro to touch the woman’s thigh. He then proceeded to touch her breast at which point the woman motions to push back Gooding’s hand though it also appeared like he pulls her hand to his mouth to kiss it.

The woman’s face is blurred to safeguard her identity but she appeared to be arguing with security as she mouthed the words “Yes, he did.”

Things get weirder later when another man approaches the party and gyrates to them. Gooding and his girlfriend respond by playfully touching the man’s crotch. More people join the group until they all decide to leave in the same direction.

It would take around 30 minutes later for Gooding’s accuser to tell on him to a man who is reportedly a member of the bar’s security. In the clip, the woman’s face is blurred to safeguard her identity but she appeared to be arguing with security as she mouthed the words “Yes, he did.”

Cuba was later seen getting up and leaving the premises walking right past the woman and the man.

“There is not the slightest scintilla of inappropriate conduct on his part.”

GOODING'S ARREST

Cuba was arrested on Thursday for misdemeanor forcible touching and sexual abuse in the third degree. The 51-year-old who smiled and waved for cameras during his arrest insists he wasn’t guilty of what his accuser was suggesting. His lawyer, Mark Heller told the press,

“There is not the slightest scintilla of inappropriate conduct on his part.”

He also believes the surveillance footage would absolve his client from the woman’s claims. He was even surprised prosecutors didn’t throw out the case after viewing it.

"It is not uncommon for people to come out of the woodwork when these things happen,”

ANOTHER WOMAN COMES FORWARD

Heller likewise addressed claims of another woman who came forward after Gooding’s arrest. She said the actor inappropriately grabbed her buttocks back in 2008. To this, the lawyer replied,

"There is no pattern of conduct. It is not uncommon for people to come out of the woodwork when these things happen,” he said.

“I trust the system and will let the process speak for itself.

Meanwhile, Cubing stands firm in saying he’s innocent and that the video will prove it. He told TMZ,

“I trust the system and will let the process speak for itself. There's a tape that shows what really happened and that's the most important thing - let's not take away from that.”

This is not the first time Gooding has been involved in an incident at a bar. Back in 2012, a bartender said the actor pushed her after she asked him to leave. She was worried about the actor who was getting agitated because of patrons who kept coming up to him for photos. A warrant was issued against Gooding but the bartender didn't pursue the charges.
