Eddie Murphy to Become a Grandpa for the First Time, and the Baby’s Gender Has Been Revealed

A recent Instagram post shared details of Eddie Murphy becoming a Grandpa for the first time. The post also revealed the gender of the newborn baby.

Famous for his role in "Coming to America", the seasoned actor's former wife, Nicole, excitedly updated her Instagram page with photos that signified that both she and her ex-husband would be first-time-grannies to a baby girl, and she's all ready for it.

Myles Mitchell, who happens to be the son of the former couple, is seen happily touching his Beau, Carly Olivia's baby bump! While standing in front of a beautifully decorated girly-themed baby shower, with these names written "Evie Isla Murphy."

The series of pictures posted by Nicole flaunted the over joyous couple with other family members at their baby shower. Her post captioned:

"I'm excited to be a G-Ma, my son and his beautiful lady are expecting a beautiful baby girl.#babyshower#babygirl#excited#can'twait."

Even though the 51-year-old is not new to motherhood as she and Eddie both have five children together, she's still as overwhelmed as any expectant parents!

On the other side of the coin, Eddie who became a daddy once again, two years ago, with his daughter, named Izzy, from his Australian woman, Paige Butcher discussed how much he was willing to stay away from daddy duties.

We hope he turns out a good granddaddy too! In his interview with Extra, he highlighted his delight in baby Izzy's sleep pattern, and how he feels about diaper change time. He said:

"She's doing wonderfully; she started sleeping all through the night again. You know I'm not a good… I don't change diapers cause I'll be horrible at that and that's not fair to the child."

The "Doctor Do Little" star further revealed how good the ambience is between himself and his ex-wife, Nicole. Even though they are separated, the duo comes together to show love and support for their children!

After they attended a movie premiere "Amateur Night" of their daughter, Bria, Eddie had this to say about the state of things between himself and Nicole.

According to him:

"Everybody's really cool with each other...it's a love fest at the house."

Both soon-to-be grandparents appear to be at their A-game when it comes to dealing with the children.

The seasoned actor is a father of ten children, from the ages of two to twenty-nine, and attests to "feeling lucky with his kids" in an interview; while Nicole's sense of excitement to be a "G-ma" via her post glaringly shows how dedicated she'll be in terms of presence and showing love to Baby Evie.

This shows just how much love is around for the soon-to-arrive grandbaby!

Baby Ivie's parents also appear to be overjoyed and anxiously await her arrival. Before the baby shower, a shared post read:

"A decade with you, now we are Mom and Dad. We can't wait to meet you, sweet girl."

Eddie has been romantically involved with a plethora of women in time past, and we hope his true love is ageless and unconditional for his current heartthrob after all granddaddy has to set a good standard!
