Kate Gosselin’s New Date Can’t Hide ‘Shock’ as He Finds out How Many Kids She Has
Kate Gosselin’s potential beau from Italy can’t believe the reality star has eight kids and even asks the question twice to be sure.
Kate Gosselin just went out on another date with Italian bachelor, Rosario, who admitted to having a “wonderful” experience sharing a moment with the “Kate Plus 8” alum.
As the two converse over an intimate dinner, Rosario shares love for cooking and his traveling history, including a two-week vacation in San Diego which eventually led him to settle in the States, leaving Gosselin impressed.
“Well, I see myself traveling,” Gosselin admits in a solo interview. “So I definitely see myself with a person who enjoys traveling and is well-traveled and has travel knowledge.”
Amidst their conversation, Gosselin shared that she and her children “need to” visit Europe, where Rosario grew up. He then asked how many children she has, to which she replied: “I have eight.”
Captured by the camera was Rosario’s shocked expression, to which it seems he could not believe what he had just heard and repeated the question for verification.
“Once I answered him the second time, ‘Yes, I have eight kids,’ there was, like… I sensed a -- yes, shock. I, of course, I’m used to [that],” Gosselin shared.
In a separate interview, her potential flame, who has no children, explained how he was stunned by the news, sharing his initial thoughts during the discussion. He said:
“She looks wonderful, you know, in shape. I was expecting kids, but not eight, honestly.”
The mother-of-eight is looking for a potential partner, who now has to be approved by all eight kids: twins, Cara and Madelyn, and sextuplets, Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, and Lea.
Gosselin admits that her children are all for their mom dating again because “they’re getting older” and will soon venture into new opportunities in their lives. The twins are leaving for college soon, and the sextuplets will be graduating in a few years.
All eight kids don’t want their mother to be alone; hence, the attempt to find a new partner for Gosselin. The series shows the experience of Gosselin as a single mother jumping back into the dating scene after her divorce with Jon Gosselin ten years ago.
“I do want someone with a set career, who is confident. A grown-up with their own life, their own agenda, who knows who they are,” she told Pop Culture.
