Who Is Donnie Wahlberg's First Wife, Kim Fey?

“Blue Bloods” star and former New Kids on the Block boy band member, Donnie Wahlberg remained friends with his partner of seventeen years, Kimberley Fey, who has since vanished from the spotlight.

Kimberly, a successful recording engineer, met Donnie during the early 1990s when New Kid n the Block had already become hugely popular.

Twenty-two years at the time, Kimberly applied to speak Spanish on one of Donnie’s records as part of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. Smitten with Kimberly from the start, Donnie told the Chicago Tribune in 2007, "She walked in and ... wow!"

The pair then started dating, and it took eight years before they tied the knot on August 20, 1999. Four years later, they welcomed their first son, Xavier Alexander Wahlberg into the world on March 4. Kimberly gave birth to their second son, Elijah Hendrix Wahlberg seven years later on August 20, 2001.

But their marriage started falling apart, and by January 2008, they had separated. On August 13, 2008, both Kimberley and Donnie filed court documents for a divorce in their respective counties citing “irreconcilable differences.”

“The couple has been separated for some time now and remain, friends,” a rep for Donnie told PEOPLE.

Kimberley sought sole legal and physical custody of their sons, who were seven and fifteen years old at the time, with visitation rights for Donnie. She also wanted spousal support and attorney’s fees from Donnie, while his demands remained unclear.

After the former couple reached an out-of-court settlement, their divorce got finalized on September 28, 2008.

Because Kimberley’s job as an engineer is not in the public spotlight, she vanished from the public eye and kept herself busy with a second job as well. Along with her business partner, Selena Stloukal, Kimberley runs a real estate business in California and Illinois.

While Donnie didn’t look for anything special after his split from Kimberley, love came around for him again in 2013.

Having first crossed paths with Jenny McCarthy on “Watch What Happens: Live” in 2012, they connected the following year when he appeared on the VH1 talk show Jenny had at the time.

Despite the instant chemistry, it took two weeks before Donnie could muster the courage to ask Jenny out. They started dating, and as the last seconds counted down on 2013, Jenny and Donnie rang in the New Year with a dramatic kiss.

Their engagement followed soon after when Donnie popped the question in April 2014. The couple didn’t wait long to get married either and tied the knot on August 31, 2014, at Hotel Baker in St. Charles, the place they first appeared in public as a couple in 2013.

While they both entered into their second marriages, both also had children from those marriages. After the couple got married, they became a blended family of five with Donnie’s two sons and Jenny’s son, Evan.

In 2018, after a few years of marriage, Donnie and Jenny revealed that they decided not to have any more children.
