During Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg played arbitrator amidst a fiery debate between hosts Meghan McCain and Joy Behar, which led to raising voices and uttering curse words.

The panel’s topic for the show, Trump’s 2020 campaign kickoff prompted McCain to share her views on the avid supporters of the president, pointing out that common hatred towards certain things is what makes people become pro-Trump and not their love for him per se.

A HEATED ARGUMENT

Behar’s repeatedly asked McCain, “Who do they hate?” which seemed like an attack from her co-host and drew frustration over McCain. She then replied:

“You know what, Joy. I really come here everyday open-minded just trying to explain it, and it’s not a fun job for me every day. I know you’re angry. I get that you’re angry that Trump’s president like a lot of people are, but I don’t think yelling at me is going to fix the problem.”

Fellow host, Goldberg interrupted the feud before the intensity rose, but there was no stopping an angry McCain, who continued to describe herself as a “sacrificial Republican” which Behar responded to with an “aww.”

“Oh, don’t feel bad for me [expletive], I’m paid to do this, okay. Don’t feel bad for me,” McCain fired back.

Before things could escalate any further, Goldberg cut to commercial. As the show resumed, the hosts clarified that their arguments were nothing personal and merely a burst of emotion amid an intense topic.

McCain continuously spoke her thoughts and lashed out on the topic, leaving almost no time for the other panelists to speak.

FIRE MCCAIN, SAYS FANS

While Behar let McCain’s comment pass, fans of the show brought to Twitter their sentiments over the on-screen bickering, suggested the co-host be fired. One comment read:

“It was time @TheView to fire @MeghanMcCain a long time ago. Today she crossed the line 9x19 times. How much more must we have to watch? Cut her off!”

Another tweet shared her initial reaction while watching the segment on television saying that she switched stations as soon as McCain called out viewers: “viewers who get offended easily shouldn’t be watching ‘The View.’”

“@Theview #theview ABC it’s disgraceful that @MeghanMcCain can sit on that panel and call @JoyVBehar the b word! Arguing is one thing name calling is NOT OK Fire her NOW,” another tweet read.

FIRE MCCAIN PART ONE

The recent backlash McCain received was not the first time fans spoke about firing the host. During a prior episode, McCain accused Goldberg of finding terrorism humorous, which did not please viewers.

Twitter was once again filled with comments of people asking when “The View” is going to replace McCain for attacking her co-hosts. The altercation between the two hosts happened over a discussion on the Special Counsel Robert S. Muller’s report.

McCain continuously spoke her thoughts and lashed out on the topic, leaving almost no time for the other panelists to speak.
