Kandi Burruss' Husband Todd Took Daughter to Strip Club & Says He'll Do It Again

Todd Tucker and his daughter Kaela are in the middle of a trip around Europe, and besides sightseeing and enjoying the local food, the daddy-daughter duo also had some fun at a strip club. This, of course, earned Tucker harsh criticism on social media, but he doesn’t regret it.

Kandi Burruss’ husband Todd Tucker is now a regular, boring dad and he doesn’t care what the fans think of that.

The businessman recently embarked on a special daddy-daughter trip with his eldest child, Kaela, to celebrate her 23rd birthday. The pair stayed a few days in London, are currently in Amsterdam, and will be visiting Paris as their final destination.

BONDING TIME WITH A TWIST

While in the British city, Todd and Kaela visited a strip club to kick off the trip, and he shared a short clip on Instagram that shows Kaela bopping to the music while a female dancer shoes her best moves in the back.

“@kpt__ watch out for the bootie! Lol!” Tucker captioned the clip.

"Kids are doing things at early ages, and we don't communicate with our kids, and that's the biggest problem."

The post got mixed reactions from fans, with most people slamming Todd for taking his daughter to such a sexually charged place, and others defending the activity as a great bonding experience for the pair.

“What a great father. What man takes their daughter to the strip club? Maybe a son, but a daughter?” wrote one user.

Another added, “Just No...this isn't what a father should be taking his 22-year daughter to. All kinds of mixed signals here. So inappropriate.”

While a third one pointed out:

“Lots of kids never been to strip club with their parents and they are so messed up. He has good kids. So, everyone is entitled to raise their kids the way they want too. Go #daddydaycare”

TODD IS UNBOTHERED

Although Todd didn’t address the criticism directly on social media, Tucker talked to TMZ about his decision to take Kaela to the club, and he revealed two things: this wasn’t their first time and going to that kind of clubs is on their genes.

“Me and my daughter been to the strip club before — we’ve been to Magic City, ain’t no big deal,” he said. “Me and my mom even went to the strip club before. It’s in our genes.”

And continued:

“My daughter just turned 23. They're gonna go anyway, so why not experience and have fun with the kids. That's what we need to do. We need to spend more time with our kids... even if it's in the strip club.”

TRYING TO BE “COOL DAD”

Tucker’s approach to parenting is not for everyone, but he thinks that “throwing some ones and smacking a couple of booties” with his daughter makes him a “cool dad” in her eyes, which will give her confidence to have good conversations with him.

Todd also believes that exposure is key and that having difficult conversations with the kids is necessary. His mom, for example, gave him the talk in elementary school alongside some condoms.

“Kids are doing things at early ages, and we don't communicate with our kids, and that's the biggest problem,” he added.

Todd advised parents to get to know their kids and what they’re doing. And continued:

“And do some things with them. And everything doesn't have to be so…the normal thing. Sometimes you have to do something out of the box to break through and be able to communicate with them in ways you never thought of.”

Tucker ended his rant by stating that Kaela will go to a strip club again once they’re back in Atlanta.

Aside from Kaela, Todd shares 3-year-old son Ace with Kandi Burruss. She is also the mother of 15-year-old Riley from a previous relationship.
